On a very hot day the Lion Hawks kept a strong batting side below 200 after a good start. It could have been even better until a few to many runs from the lower order. Ben led the way in the bowling fight back with an excellent 5 for 22 in his 8 overs In reply we were 76 for 1 in just 13.2 overs with Lewis cruising at 59. However him getting caught in the deep exposed a fairly young middle order and we collapsed to 109 all out with only Carl and Henry Edmonds reaching scores in the teens. This was disappointing as the home team were very nervous at certain stages during the game but we failed under pressure and we need to learn from this type of match intensity.
