With-out hitting a ball the Lions progress into the Quater Final of the U13 Peter Coe Cup.
With a strange set of results, Brentwood forefitting our match, Colechester beating Loughton and Goresbrook beating Newham. It means with one game to play the Lions have 20 points in 2nd place behind Colchester but 8 points in front of Loughton, Newham and Goresbrook meaning we cannot be caught so will go through to the Quater Finals regarless of the result in the last game. Looking at our draw, Saffron Walden are the winners for group two and with one game to play cannot be caught so these will be our next opponents on the 2nd August away at their ground. This will be a tough game but one, if we paly to our strenghts, we are capable of winning.
